At the 2006 Labrador
Retriever National Fleet achieved 3rd place out of 16 entries.
The critique by judge Mr David Craig,
a breed specialist
from the UK, reads:
Very nice black with good body, bone, coat and tail.
Fleet gained his
AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION title by taking a 25 point challenge, awarded by
Labrador Specialist Ms Kirsi Loumanen (Finland), at the Labrador
Club of SA Championship Show.
He is a
wonderful example of the Labrador Retriever breed. His head,
coat and tail epitomise the three main qualities of the
Labrador Retriever. His temperament is outstanding - being
very friendly and outgoing!
Fleet has been allowed to mature at home with only limited
showing. When in the show ring he has done well, winning
breed, group and in show classes.
Fleet will be campaigned during 2006 and we look forward to
his continued success along with his sister Aust Ch Kirkdell
Destiny.
Fleet is now enjoying a new challenge! He shows all the
signs of being a natural tracker and successfully achieved
the qualification leg of his Tracking Champion title with an
excellent display of tracking!
