Zac is now a GRAND CHAMPION

It is with great heartache that I make public the knowledge that Zac Australian Grand Champion Driftway Magnetic Storm passed away just before Christmas following a short but virulent illness.
 

I am really devastated about losing Zac and only now fully realise what a wonderful dog he really was! He was so young and taken from us too soon

My advice to you all is to really make the most of all your loved ones as you never know what tomorrow brings.

‘Every now and then you meet a dog which, regardless of breed or sex, you would love to have for yourself even if you didn't have the room, because they just have that X factor.

Zac was one of those!

I don't necessarily mean the biggest winners; I mean the ones with the inner light and outside beauty.  I can count those dogs on one hand so you can be grateful that you at least had a chance to have one of the special ones even though it wasn't for long enough. 

 He was a dignified gentleman and deserved respect. ‘

Week in and week out Zac consistently won challenges, Best of Breed,  Best in Group, class in group and in show awards.

Zac was an outstanding example of the labrador breed highlighted by his outstanding head, true otter tail and the correct labrador coat.

He is a consistently won in the show ring and produced progeny which incorporated all of his best attributes.

Some of his noted progeny include his daughter Aust Ch Driftway Magnetic Charm and his grandchildren Aust Ch Kirkdell Destiny, Aust Ch Kirkdell Endeavour, Kirkdell Déjà vu and Kirkdell Vindication.

Another lovely black, superb type, in fact so similar to one. Lovely head and eye, good body, coat and tail, free mover, close decision - he is another super dog!

Zac placed 2nd in the Open Dog class. The class was very strong with 18 dogs entered.
